Candice Suarez, Chief Life Editor

I'm so excited to host you.

For five years, I've sat across from clients in the middle of their own messy chapters—helping them find the words for what's shifting, what's ending, and what's not yet written. And every year, right around this time, I watch the same thing happen: the calendar turns, and suddenly everyone's supposed to have a plan. A vision. A "word of the year."

But here's what I've learned, both as a coach and as someone who has rewritten her own story more than once: you can't outline a year you haven't given yourself space to feel first.

That's why I created Draft Your Year—not as a goal-setting bootcamp, but as a pause. A weekend to slow down, get honest about the sloppy copy of this past year, and start sketching the next one with intention instead of pressure.

We'll spend a Saturday together—six unhurried hours, with good food and good company—working through where you've been and where you're headed. Sunday morning, we'll close gently, with brunch and the kind of quiet clarity that only comes after real reflection.

You won't leave with a rigid twelve-month plan you'll abandon by February. You'll leave with a next draft—something honest, flexible, and yours.

What You'll Walk Away With

A Clear-Eyed Close to 2026

Honest reflection on what draft you're setting down and what's actually worth carrying forward, so you're not dragging last year's unfinished business into the new one.

A Vision Grounded in Who You're Becoming

Not just what you want to do next, but who you need to be to do it — the values you're writing into your next chapter.

A Next Draft You Can Actually Live

Loose, flexible goals paired with habits and routines built to survive contact with real life — because your nervous system, not just your willpower, has to buy in.
